Visualizing the vibrations.

The challenge

The track “Vibration” by Berlin-based musician and DJ Melouie (Louis Edlinger) explores the idea that we are all composed of energy and atoms in constant motion. For this project, he was looking to communicate that idea visually.

The solution

Building on this concept, I developed a visual language centered around the atom as the key motif. The project included the creation of a looping Spotify Canvas, social media content, and an audio-reactive visualizer for YouTube, all designed to translate the track’s energy into dynamic, immersive visuals.

The creative process

Starting with a briefing and rough sketches, it became clear that the key visual had to be an atom. Using TouchDesigner because of it’s ability to create audio-reactive particle systems, I created several iterations until landing on the main visual.
